I blog because I want to record & share my experience of installing, configuring, & using software packages. My most recent interests were Free & Open Source Software.
It is a journey. I may revisit the same software, take detour, change route.
I have a rather loose definition of Open. To me, it is any software that I don't need to pay up for(legally of course).
I blog about both Linux & Windows. Current emphasis is on Debian Etch(Linux) and Win XP.

Fond of Good-looking Fonts
I'd highly recommend this excellent article on Linux fonts. It is a rather comprehensive treatment on how to use fonts on Linux. Some history, some theory, and some good practical how-to advice on using the Linux fonts. Enjoy!
